Welcome to Robert
Matelski Ministries
It is such an honor for me to thank you for
visiting my web site. I trust you will allow God to guide you
through each page and touch your heart with the sweet sound of His
voice.
As we each share in being a part of the body of Christ let us always
remember that it takes all parts of the body to make it work
correctly and as designed. In 1 Corinthians 12:12-20 it states:
“The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts: and though
all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ.
For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body… whether Jews
or Greeks, slave or free … and we were all given the one Spirit to
drink.” Now the body is not made up of one part but of many. If the
foot should say, "Because, I am not a hand, I do not belong to the
body," it would not for that reason cease to be part of the body.
And if the ear should say, “Because I am not an eye, I do not belong
to the body,” it would not be for that reason cease to be part of
the body. If the whole body were an eye, where would the sense of
hearing be? If the whole body were an ear, where would the sense of
smell be? But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every
one of them, just as He wanted them to be. If they were all one
part, where would the body be? As it is there are many parts but one
body.
My
favorite verse in the bible is also the shortest. John 11:35 “Jesus
wept”. Two words, so very powerful. What does it mean to me? Well,
although in the Bible it states how Jesus arrived to comfort the
sisters of Lazarus four days after Lazarus was already in the tomb.
He wept. To me as those heavy hammers drove those nails into the
palms of His hands through the skin and into the cross, with each
blow of the hammer, it represents the sins that I have committed
through out my life, which Jesus took to the cross with Him. Upon
his shoulders He carried my sins, your sins, and sins of the world.
So as my Lord and Savior died an earthly death for us, He also
provided the one special gift for all mankind. One very special gift
which each one of us can received just by asking. He provided us the
means to have eternal life and share it with Him in heaven. That is
SALVATION.
If you do not know the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and
Savior them please go to the Salvation page and read it. Say the
prayer and mean it in your heart…..
